Abstract Submission

The 10th ICCMg Conference welcomes abstracts reporting work that focuses on the diverse aspects of clinical metagenomics such as (and not limited to) silico tools, diagnostic solutions, clinical studies, pathogen discovery, microbiota and molecular epidemiology.

Accepted abstracts will be made available during the two days of the conference as posters and selected abstracts will be presented live as oral presentations after invited speakers.

Deadline to submit your abstract: 17th September 2025!

All abstracts must be prepared according to the following instructions.

Abstracts which do not comply with the guidelines listed below will be returned directly to the authors for correction before they can enter the reviewing process.

Abstracts may be selected for poster or oral presentation according to the referees’ decision.

  • The abstract must be written in English. The abstract should be brief and concise.
  • The abstract should not contain formulas and tables.
  • The title should be short and informative, with a maximum of 30 words.
  • The presenter should be identified.
  • The body of your abstract should have a maximum of 300 words.
  • The text should be divided in 4 sections: Background, Methods, Results, Discussion
  • At least one of the abstract authors should be present at the conference.
  • All submitted abstracts will be considered for the ICCMg prize, rewarding the best abstract according to the referees
