Abstract program

ICCMg COVID-19 welcomes abstracts reporting work that focuses on clinical metagenomics and meet relevance with COVID-19. Non exclusively, the ICCMg COVID-19 will cover: the origin and structure of the virus, the genomic surveillance, the bioinformatics resources, the role of host in the evolution of the disease, the role of the microbiota in the susceptibility to the disease and its evolution, the role of NGS for diagnostic.

Accepted abstracts will be made available during these two days as electronic posters and selected abstracts will be presented live as oral presentations.

All abstracts must be prepared according to the following instructions.

Abstracts which do not comply with the guidelines listed below will be returned directly to the authors for correction before they can enter the reviewing process. This year, you will have the possibility to submit your abstract as poster or oral presentation.

  • The abstract must be written in English. The abstract should be brief and concise.
  • The abstract should not contain formulas and tables.
  • The title should be short and informative, with a maximum of 30 words.
  • The presenter should be identified.
  • The body of your abstract should have a maximum of 300 words.
  • The text should be divided in 4 sections: Background, Methods, Results, Discussion
  • At least one of the abstract authors should be present at the conference.
  • For the ICCMg/SSM prize, both a poster and an oral presentation will be requested
