Sünje Johanna Pamp is Associate Professor in Microbial Ecology & Infectious Diseases at the Technical University of Denmark. Her research integrates insight from genomics (metagenomics, 16S rRNA gene profiling, WGS, and single-cell sequencing), classical microbiology, ecology, and medicine to better detect, predict, and prevent pathogen transmission and human infectious diseases. She obtained her PhD in Biotechnology (2007) from the Technical University of Denmark, and her MSc in Biology (2003) from the University of Greifswald, Germany. From 2008 to 2014 she conducted postdoctoral research at the laboratory of Prof. David A. Relman, Stanford University School of Medicine, USA.
