Artificial Intelligence: From Hype to Hope
Artificial Intelligence has taken the world by storm, and the scientific world has not escaped its impact. In this talk, my goal is to convince you that the naysayers (“it’s all hype!”) are wrong, and that the cautious scientists (“but it’s still mostly hope”) are right. I’ll also share an outlook on what’s coming in AI, and some strategies of how to go from hope to concrete implementation.
